White Water Problem

Hi all, 

 

I've been having a strange problem with water textures for a long time. I am limited to the 1.x range because the water loses all texturing in the higher range. I would like to have 2.x enabled for some VFR flying, however I can't seem to figure this one out. I have deleted the "Shader" folder in the [local/Microsoft/FSX] directory, but the issue persists even after FSX rebuilds the shader cache. The two images below are the result of setting 2.x. 

 

I am using FSX SP2 on Win7 x64 with the DX10 preview mode disabled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe have a look at the free FS Water Configurator, it may clean things out for you.
