Hawker Lift Dump Position

Recommended Posts

Just curious if the lift dump position on the flaps has been accurately modeled? I bought the Hawker, but with a hectic work schedule I have not been able to try it yet. Although the mixed reviews have me concerned.

There would be no way to accurately model lift dump. The core sim doesn't support such a design. So, they'll have to fake it somehow.

You might be surprised as just how well the Lift Dump feature is modeled and also the Stick Pusher. These are by far the best modeling jobs to date. I think most everyone is stuck on the AP and FMS faux pas and haven't even explored some of the other new features.

I love it, and my instructor flies the 850 in RL and he flew it on my sim.  He says its pretty close to the real think.

Yes, it works very well indeed! The speed of deployment and even the unique sound from the flap motor gearbox are 100% correct. I definitely have no complaints about the visual modeling - Carenado did a superb job on that.
