I was really more then happy to have a tube liners with today standard, working on share cockpit.

I tried the SP3 following all manuals and info on the web, but lot's of error and no way to connect with my buddy.

So here is a poll to check, if many of you manage to fly together and if you enjoy flying in share cockpit.

I hope also the majestic will be released ASAP.

The group I fly with have been flying Shared Cockpit (mostly on VATSIM) for just over 8 years.

Our primary shared cockpit aircraft as the venerable Leonardo Maddog MD-80, for which most of our hours have been logged.

About 2 years ago we started flying the Majestic Dash 8/Q400 Professional in Shared Cockpit and our team quickly rang up a significant number of hours in this incredible aircraft.

For the past several weeks we've been putting the Aerosoft Airbus A318/319/320/321 through the paces in Connected Flight Deck (CFD), and although a few of our guys are highly proficient in this aircraft I'm going through training with the group to become an IP in her, plus lots of reading for this Boeing guy.

We strive for realism in and outside the flight deck (real world procedures on the flight deck and flying on VATSIM) so the guys whom I once taught the MD-80 and Dash 8/Q400 to are enjoying the role reversal (I am too).

Anyway... IMHO flying shared cockpit on VATSIM, especially during an event, is the highest level of immersion and realism possible for Desktop Flight Simulation.  When I'm looking for an easy going flight with less work I'll still fly single cockpit, but for VATSIM events it's shared cockpit all the way! Nothing like sharing all the event experiences with someone in real time and in the same aircraft.

Not only have we built a lot of memorable experiences, we shared them and this brought our group even closer together.  In fact, last year we all met up in Fort Lauderdale Florida with members coming from as far away as England and Germany.
