Lear 35A

Recommended Posts

Really excited about the Lear 35A in development, especially with your depth of systems modeling. Just about every cockpit photo of a Lear 35 has an Universal FMS and MFD. are you guys going there or will there be GTN/WX radar inegration like Conquest and MU-2. Never gave seen this in photos or real life, but suppose it's possible.

What Lear 35A in development?

Flysimware announced on their Facebook page on May 10th that the Learjet 35 project had started. Yea.

Thanks Ray,

One of the reasons I find FB so very frustrating is it seems it is never the same twice. When I scroll down the page to May 10, I find the WW I aircraft, but nothing on the Lear. I have not seen the developers (Mark/Joe) on the forum for quite awhile. Is everything on FB now?

I found the LJ35 on the 'Flysimware Simulation' page as opposed to the 'FSX Flysimware Simulation' page. I have no idea why there are two pages.

I accidentally stumbled across the brief statement. I clicked on the 3d view of the Lear 35 among the MU-2 screenshots and a FB text box popped up with the statement that the project was started.

All I know.

I don't think I'd expect to see an accurate FMC included until they first learn how to code their own auto pilot systems from scratch, which they have not yet done. I highly doubt you'll see anything like that right now from these guys. Down the road perhaps, as their skill level improves and they gain more experience.

...just a guess though

I, for one, am happy to see the Lear in development.  But as development goes, it does take time, and there are things to master.  I believe the guys have it in them to make this work, despite the nony crony nay sayers and doubters.  The Lear will be complicated.  It will present development challenges. But in the end, I think they will get it right.

Now where did I put that how to fly a lear jet book?
