Carenado Navajo released

Recommended Posts

I got it.  It's pretty.  I worked for the Piper Dealer in Sacramento and used to fly these things back in the day.  The first thing I noticed about the Carenado version is a TWO-AXIS AUTOPILOT.  Really Carenado?  Maybe the first Navajo that came off the assembly line was so autopilot hobbled, but I never saw one without a three-axis autopilot during the years I flew them.  The other problem I noticed is they didn't give us the click-spot for the pop-up on the GTN750.   Regarding the flight dynamics, I haven't spent much time flying it yet.  But, my initial impression is it feels a bit under powered compared to what I remember.   But it handles well, and the control response seems accurate. And it is pretty.  And, I have to admit, pretty is why I buy Carenado.

Report the AP to Carenado with your credentials. They have a slew of AP's I'm sure they could shoe horn in there with three axes control.

I broke my own rule, and just bought it.
