Initially had a few issues which was going to make us have to offload baggage due our high take off weight and runway limitations. However, fortunately, the temp dropped and with an A/C off departure we were able to get our Takeoff Calculations and get underway without the need to offload baggage. Our TOW was 351000kgs. No de-rate for this departure from RWY35

Just getting airborne out of Buenos Aires with not much RWY to spare.

Low cloud hovered over the airport which drifted in just before our departure thankfully helping drop the temp just a few C allowing us to get underway.

Got a bit of a light show as we flew up the East of Columbia, few thunderstorms in the vicinity.

Nothing much happened on the long stint over the Atlantic and up past the Canaries. So here we are descending into Amsterdam now ahead of schedule thanks to the 119kt tailwinds.

Thankfully don't have the hellish weather today in Amsterdam that was happening yesterday!

A great report with some really cool screenshots, Shaun! Thanks for sharing.

Out of curiosity: 13 hours - have you used time compression or gone to bed alternatively?

Awesome. I did SBGR - LSZH some months ago... just like you, I saw a sunset and a sunrise in the same flight.

This is also a great way to test the stability of your sim. :P
