Agreed. I gave it a quick test in the PMDG 737 and I used to lose about 5-7 FPS while my mouse cursor was showing on my display. I now have no loss and my FPS is up about 10%. So happy DTG came along to make all these fixes to FSX!

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

Does it install seamlessly or you have to update addons afterwards?

This is only in Beta you have to go into steam and place a code in to use it. You can op back out again without hurting the core FSX SE the Beta only seems to update the core FSX SE! However ASN will not work with the Beta as it is the incorrect version at this time, no doubt once this Beta trial has finished and been fully released HI FI Tech will update.

Thanks

And you can easily revert to the current version of FSX:SE by just reversing the steps.

It only updates some .dlls and the FSX.exe.

I think these rely on specific version numbers, so whenever FSX's version number updates, these break.

You need to check websites. Dovetail take care to advise the main add-on folks of updates. You'll find ASN Open Beta is already available -- B5687, released yesterday I think, and FSUIPC 4.941, released today.

I don't use the others so I don't know about them.

So, what you're telling me is that dreaded mouse FPS drop is no-more?

Thanks Pete,

I need to update my ASN seems to be ok with Aerosoft Airbus

But the performance seems better with the cursor issue addressed.

Thanks
