logo light not lighting up

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the 777 -300 ER emirates livery.

Find at night the logo lights are not lighting up.

Has anyone else noticed it ?

I have Steve's dx10 fixer plus sweetfx.

Is it due to any of the above ?

Thanks

Hari

Hi David,

No, I get this even with the engines running.

Its just that the logo light does not light up the vertical stabilizer

Full names in the PMDG forum please.

David is right, the tail logo light is one of the loads normally shed during ground ops; however, with engines running this shouldn't be the issue.  The most obvious action is to try a different livery.

The next question is which livery are you using?

Hi Dan

I am using the w PMDG emirates livery.

Even at night with the engines running, the ogo lights don't illuminate.

Thanks

This is why.

Kyle - How do I fix it ?

Uninstall both? I am sure others in the forum have that combination and curious if they managed to fix it or live with it.

Thanks

No idea. I never messed with DX10, or any program that attempted to hack into FSX to "fix" the half-implementation.

I doubt its  Steves   fixer that's causing  this  issue  since  no one  else  has posted  this  issue,  to the op   just go back  to DX 9   to see  if  the issues  still there,  quite  easy  to do  just open up  the control panel  and  select  the option within there

Another option is to go into Steve's DX10 Fixer program and look for anything that may override lighting.  Perhaps you checked/ticked an option that messes with the way the lights are displayed.  If this is the case, I highly recommend reading the manual that accompanies the fixer, as the settings can be misleading if not understood correctly.
