Scenery glitch

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm facing some weird behavior of the scenery and would like to know how to fix it.

I'm using:

P3D 2.5 with hotfix 6

Windows 10 Pro 64bits

ORBX Global

ORBX Vector

ORBX Global openLC Europe

Trees HD

+ Most of ORBX areas in Europe, NA

I ran Vector configurator, disabled Secondary and 3rd runways.

And some areas, the textures keeps changing randomly , feels like it's trying to find the right block and gets in a loop.

I am not going to sign into anything to look at your pictures. Sorry.  The links don't work as you expected.

Maybe take this to the Orbx forum?

Any recommendation where to store them and post here?

I do not know how to do it with dropbox.  I use Ozx Image Hosting - http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/ .  It's donationware.  You would want to copy and paste the link with the BBCode.

This really belongs over in the Orbx forum.  It looks like to me that the Orbx installation has problems. Be sure to check for their product updates at their web site, including a very important patch to the library required for P3D, something like FTXORBLIBS dated Feb 2015.

I think I found the problem.

I disabled the hybrid mode and looks like the problem is gone.

Unless they posted something today, neither ORBX or P3D support Windows10. Even if you get it working you are asking for trouble and what you will get in the way of support from the developers will be "we do not support Windows 10".

Don't throw away your earlier Windows yet.

I'm sure it's not OS related, just something during install I missed or did wrong.

just ran ObjectFlow updater, enabled Hybrid Mode again and worked fine :)
