  1. For a more general approach it's great I assume more flexible... Still at the lookout to upgrade the stick and throttle unit too and EFIS + ECAM + overhead o well... 🤣 Two Ipads do the job also for charts and EFB and FMS... The beauty of this hobby is to tailor the hardware to your own preference and usage, nothing wrong or right just different. With MSFS open up for more hardware solutions, it becomes more mature.
  2. Yep is still free only the airac update is from navigraph
  3. I prefer in my case the airbus throttle and spoiler and flaps and more with the miniFCU and a dedicated tiller unit I'm going for a mini airbus cockpit 🙂 But I can imagine that with 32 buttons you could do it as well... I have chosen a different route 🙂
  4. Indeed flexible to configure for local preferences, have the captain set so no need to use the slider...
  5. I agree but until know it's for me unfortunately the best option. I have a large collection of ATC chatter files for the whole of Europe (per airports and CTR (Maastricht for example Eurocontrol) APP/CLR/CTR/DEP/GND/TWR) which contribute to the immersion factor... Updated the voice sets too but still one of the weak points... I have FSHUD, but it's still heavy on FPS side of things. So for the time being holding off because it doesn't offer more.
  6. I have mapped this to camera views via my hat switch and the buttons on the stick (so I go directly to a saved camera view)... and I cycle through the camera views also. You can set them up also for external camera views... That's because I have TrackIR5, so don't need the hat switch for the look around function... Have also a setup per aircraft, for aircraft with manual trim I use two positions of the hat switch. If this is what your looking for PM me and I will share screenshots from the Fenix Airbus for example and the PMDG 737.
  7. Well I use Pro-ATC-SR and it has both and more 😎
  8. Thanks for the video you uploaded EHAM > EGLL gives a good impression and that voice from that particular controller voice was so funny... At this point in time Pro-ATC-SR will be my ATC program... Will follow all but at this point it isn't a step forward besides controller voices.
  9. Was listening to the live stuff in Europe, but noticed a lot of US accents is this your experience too?
  10. Yes curious how this one will go and wish you a safe smooth flight. (that will be over EDDK/EDDL/EDDF/EDDM range great test route)
  11. Unfortunately not, since I already own the software and it's stable no need for a change at this point. It's aware of landing and departing aircraft and runway traffic (despite some bugs) At this point in time I would not purchase Pro-ATC due to the lack of support or any updates... (The actual traffic (AI) continues to be controlled by the flight simulation but is detected and considered and even changed by PRO-ATC/SR. That means you won't get a clearance for takeoff when an aircraft is on final approach or still on the runway. It will even be controlled to avoid collisions with your aircraft when airborne.)
  12. Maybe a corrupted download during release of some WU or CU updates or a bug somewhere... For example the Area around EHAM is full of buildings at a relative small space (Roterdam / Den Haag / Amsterdam on top of that we have EHRD/EHAM and Rotterdam Harbor), with CU4 we had a very detailed large city update of The Haque and Brussels I can even see my own garden that detailed, so I would suspect without CU4 it could improve in that Area? But so many different parameters at play it's rather a difficult one to pinpoint...
