  1. I always start the AIG Traffic Controller & MSFS at the same time and AIGTC is always up and running long before MSFS is fully loaded. By the time I set up my flight and am sitting at the gate the airport is full of traffic.
  2. I just received the new card yesterday evening so haven't had the chance yet to try FG but I've just been using DX11 TAA with the frame rate locked at 48 (2560X1440 -144 monitor) and MSFS always runs smooth for me.
  3. I did! Purchased a RTX 4070 Super directly from Nvidia for $599 then sold my 3080 on Ebay for $450. I gained a modest increase in performance going from 10G to 12G but the 4070S runs much cooler and uses less power.
  4. I went from 531.29 to 536.23 and haven't encountered any problems but I use DX11 not DX12.
  5. This solution was posted by mamu82 in another thread and fixed it for me: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18sSh6XaDL9cUyKsy53zN96cxRUb0JCyr/view?usp=sharing Just download and place this exclusion triangle in your community folder.
  6. Using DX11 TAA I used the 528.49 drivers for months and never encountered the (nvwgf2umx.dll) crash but after installing driver 531.68 it happened twice within a few days so went back to 528.49 and haven't had a problem since.
  7. This is what I didn't do: 5. In your list of purchases, you'll need to find the receipt for the BASE GAME (i.e. 'Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe bundle') If you select the receipt for the DLC instead (i.e.'Microsoft Flight Simulator- XXX Credits) Steam will automatically reject your refund request. I had selected the duplicate DLC instead. My concern now is that if I select the Base Game MSFS Premium Deluxe I'm afraid Steam will issue a $22 refund for the duplicate DLC but then delete MSFS from my PC...yes I'm now paranoid. I'm going to just write it off as a learning experience and move on.
  8. I did all of the following per MS but still received the same "We cannot grant a refund at this time." response from steam: HOW TO CONTACT A STEAM SUPPORT AGENT TO REQUEST A REFUND 1. Open Steam 2. Click on your username 3. go to Account Details 4. View Purchase History 5. 6. Select "I have a question about this purchase." 7. Sum up the issue. Don't forget to include the screenshot of this email and the proof you were charged twice. The best practice seems to be buying the Steam wallet credits prior to purchasing inside the MSFS Marketplace Already had Steam wallet credits from a gift card.
  9. I paid with Steam Wallet credits from a gift card not PayPal.
  10. I purchased Digital Design's Lyon from the MSFS Marketplace yesterday but received a purchase failed error message so ordered it again and it went through but I was charged twice by Steam. When I contacted Steam they sent me this: We cannot grant a refund at this time. In-game item purchases are not refundable if any items in the purchase have been consumed, modified, or transferred. When I contacted MS I received the following: We do not have access to Steam's account and billing system to refund erroneous or duplicate purchases, but Steam Support can do it on our behalf so I once again contacted Steam and attached the MS response but again received the same Steam response as above. So guess I’m stuck paying $44 for a $22 item but lesson learned and I will never purchase another item from Marketplace.

  12. From AIG to....never mind, I'm happy with AIG.
  13. I never see any ads on AVSIM...guess Bitdefender is doing it's job! 😀
  14. No glut of 3080's...The Dallas Metroplex area Best Buy stores have been out of 3080's for several months and the few they receive in stock sell immediately and at Amazon they are way over priced.
