  1. Truly can't wait for this one... Ok, that's not true LOL, I CAN wait, I just don't like it. Now THAT is true... LOL
  2. If I remember correctly from Boat traffic sliders were like an on/off and you wanted to set them to something low like 6% which enabled GAIST but didn't conflict with default ship traffic. Is that still the case or should I have ships and ferries at 100%? Thank you, appreciate the help!
  3. Thank you so much for the quick response, it is very much appreciated! That explains why I am not seeing any boat traffic 🙂 Thank you again, have a great day! And my goodness, thank you for this project!!
  4. Apologies for the silly question here. In the readme it says to just extract to your community folder. Now should I extract it with all folder structure intact so: Community\ ai-boats-ships-v5-msfs\ gaist-ship-routes_v1_1 gaist-ultra-v5_0 Or.... Should all the Subdirectories be their own entries in Community so: Community\ gaist-ship-routes_v1_1 gaist-ultra-v5_0 Apologies again for the silly question.
  5. Sounds similar to what happened with me in the PMDG although mine was completely uncontrollable. It was fine with the original ASFS build so I think something is amiss. So far Fenix users have reported issues, LVFR reported a similar behavior now it's starting to look like the same thing with PMDG. Going to turn all the wind settings and effects to 0
  6. Perhaps that was it but there were no other aircraft using runway 12.. To your point, it was absolutely excessive if it was wake and I had it at default setting. I mean it was a total uncontrollable inverted roll with an impact of 8000 ft/min with the ground.
  7. I was using AIG but was the only plane on approach to 12 while others were using 09 so no AI anywhere in my descent path. This was a violent forced uncontrolled pitch over and crash which I've never experienced in FS or the PMDG or even the prior ASFS build.
  8. @Damian Clark Everything worked fine on my first two flights with ASFS and the PMDG 737-800. Tonight when I launched ASFS I got a notification about an update so I ran that. This time on short final for the first time ever at about 1500 feet above the ground completely stable and hand flying all of a sudden the plane pitched right, rolled and slammed into the ground. There was nothing I could do. I was at an approach speed of 150 slowing to my 144 vRef. Only difference between this inverted fail and my hundreds of successful flights is the latest version of ASFS.
  9. What are your in sim turbulence settings? I think Damian recommended low and it does say using realistic with ASFS will produce exactly what you described
  10. Long time AS user here, can't remember how many versions I have purchased (always with a nice repeat customer discount I will add) so this was a no brainer for me. Unfortunately I made the critical mistake yesterday of doing two things at once. I purchased ASFS and immediately set everything up for my first flight. Then I launched MSFS and got a mandatory update. Sure enough the performance on my next flight was the worst I have seen. I will have to try the same flight again with just MSFS live weather to try and lock down which of the two actions seems to have tanked my performance. I will also check if MSFS changed any settings (which it can do with updates from time to time) but interested if anyone has noticed any performance issues with ASFS? On an aside, I used the PMDG 737 and everything worked spectacularly together from an interaction perspective so now I need to lock down performance.
  11. The way I have overcome this to make the landing roll seem more like real life is to not apply brakes until reverse thrust has slowed me to 80kts. Then I apply a light brake sometimes even just pumping them a few times and it produces a much longer and realistic landing rollout... Doing it this way I find myself using the same taxiway exits that get used when I'm a passenger in R/L. It also results in me really having to get on the brakes at times to make the taxiway exit. As an aside, LMDh don't have ABS so it's pretty cool how a GT car with ABS can brake at the same spot if not even a bit later than a prototype and hold them up in the corners when the prototype can have a significantly higher corner min spd and just silly acceleration off the corner compared to the GT cars but at that braking point the ABS can almost make a GT car as capable as a prototype. But I digress LOL
  12. Does the AMP have HDMI in/out? Why not reverse the order and go 4090-amplifier/surround sound-OLED? Then your OLED could go into standby but audio would still play through the amp. Why you would want your screen to power own "during" MSFS is the part I don't understand... It's not a static image there is constant movement even if the panel depiction is relatively static.
  13. Happy to report I just did a full flight in the PMDG 737 and it was flawless. The best way I could describe it with the modifications I made about was that it seemed completely seamless and natural from both a head movement perspective but also the interaction with MSFS and view presets... There was no unexpected behavior, just change the preset, it goes to your saved view and you start looking around naturally, switch back to saved cockpit view and pick right back up. The MSFS saved views almost work like a centering mechanism so all I did was toggle it on/off with my yoke when I didn't want my head movements tracked. I may tick up the responsiveness a tad but this was perfectly smooth the equivalent of my POV hat switch... I'm so happy I AM replacing my TIR with this on my racing sim rig downstairs as well...
  14. You are very welcome and thank YOU for coming back and letting us know it fixed the issue. Now we can help others whereas so often people fix their issue but never let anyone know and then no one else gets help. Greatly appreciated and glad it is working. Now play with the mapping and filters and I am really impressed how natural this feels once it's set up correctly...
