  1. The way I have overcome this to make the landing roll seem more like real life is to not apply brakes until reverse thrust has slowed me to 80kts. Then I apply a light brake sometimes even just pumping them a few times and it produces a much longer and realistic landing rollout... Doing it this way I find myself using the same taxiway exits that get used when I'm a passenger in R/L. It also results in me really having to get on the brakes at times to make the taxiway exit. As an aside, LMDh don't have ABS so it's pretty cool how a GT car with ABS can brake at the same spot if not even a bit later than a prototype and hold them up in the corners when the prototype can have a significantly higher corner min spd and just silly acceleration off the corner compared to the GT cars but at that braking point the ABS can almost make a GT car as capable as a prototype. But I digress LOL
  2. Does the AMP have HDMI in/out? Why not reverse the order and go 4090-amplifier/surround sound-OLED? Then your OLED could go into standby but audio would still play through the amp. Why you would want your screen to power own "during" MSFS is the part I don't understand... It's not a static image there is constant movement even if the panel depiction is relatively static.
  3. Happy to report I just did a full flight in the PMDG 737 and it was flawless. The best way I could describe it with the modifications I made about was that it seemed completely seamless and natural from both a head movement perspective but also the interaction with MSFS and view presets... There was no unexpected behavior, just change the preset, it goes to your saved view and you start looking around naturally, switch back to saved cockpit view and pick right back up. The MSFS saved views almost work like a centering mechanism so all I did was toggle it on/off with my yoke when I didn't want my head movements tracked. I may tick up the responsiveness a tad but this was perfectly smooth the equivalent of my POV hat switch... I'm so happy I AM replacing my TIR with this on my racing sim rig downstairs as well...
  4. You are very welcome and thank YOU for coming back and letting us know it fixed the issue. Now we can help others whereas so often people fix their issue but never let anyone know and then no one else gets help. Greatly appreciated and glad it is working. Now play with the mapping and filters and I am really impressed how natural this feels once it's set up correctly...
  5. Are you putting the output as Simconnect? The input should be eyeware beam, output should be freeware 2.0 enhanced then make sure you have a button set to center and I also set a button to toggle tracking as that allows me to shut it off with a joystick button altogether. Finally, for those experience jerky movements have you looked at the filters tab under options. There are instructions to set all sliders to zero and then which order to increase them and what the filters do. Playing with those now... Edit1: Wow, played with the filters and dropped them down immensely. Responsiveness: Position: 0.0 Rotation 2.0 Drift Speed Position 10.10 Rotation 2.2/s I also changed the mapping. Now when I turn my head 45 degrees which is about the max I scan still see the monitor it translates to ~ 160 degrees in sim so it's the equivalent of looking over my shoulder. Going to do a full flight now but this seems to give me the experience I am looking for and almost mimics my POV hat perfectly. Edit 2: Now in flight and I have to say having a joystick button set to toggle it on and off and how seamless it integrates into the MSFS view presets is really lovely. When I change my preset view the head tracking is completely unobtrusive and seamless. I can easily see this replacing TIR on my racing sim rig as well as it does what TIR does seamlessly without the need for a hat 🙂 No feedback on lighting conditions having any impact yet.
  6. So with the 4k webcam it was incredibly responsive. I have actually disabled all of the eye tracking for now and limited it to head tracking. Now it is smooth as could be with no jumping or unexpected movements. I guess I move my eyes a lot as it was sort of all over the place. Limiting it to head movements only works much better for me. For the cost of the webcam and the SW it really is pretty slick. This gives me that little bit of visual movement I need especially on landing to glance at the gauges and focus out the window...
  7. I will let you know if it is smooth with the Logi 4K
  8. They do say if you want 60FPS fluidity to go with a few specific cameras including the Logi 4K webcam... I tried it with my 720 and it was a bit laggy so have the 4K cam coming today...
  9. I use PF3, have my runways set correctly in the MSFS PF3 Database for Landings and Arrivals with Certain runways closed for takeoffs, others closed for landings and AI not only ignores all of it but I do also get AI leaving from 22R as I am leaving from 4L. From what I can tell PF3 doesn't control AI... I am using AIG by the way...
  10. The real fix is a proper FOV system not relying upon zoom but a combination of Monitor size, monitor curvature, multi monitor bezel and angle configurations such as we find in most racing sims.... I use the same 49 ultrawide for my racing rig and my FS rig. Almost every racing sim has proper FOV controls to define all of the critical settings above and get accurate "zoom" I can even define my 49 inch ultrawide's curve or emulate it as a triple monitor setup, this is just not something we are capable of in MSFS... MSFS just doesn't have this functionality and I've been suffering with what you are seeing since day 1. Looking straight things look great but the angles of the monitor are always stretched and elongated. Only solution I have found is to focus forward and if I really want to look at something to the side use my POV hat to ensure that whatever I am looking at is in the "center" of the monitor. It is especially annoying with AI. I don't know how anyone can have an ultrawide without proper FOV controls without this fisheye effect tbh...
  11. Also check your system clock is correct... Especially with DST changes recently
  12. I just cross posted in someone else's topic but thought this was important enough to call out independently if you are having the MSFS won't load issues: All of a sudden after the last Win10 update I am in the same boat and MSFS will no longer load. Tried getting updates from the store, none available, signing in and out of the store and XBox, repairing, removing Community, no luck. Last time I flew was Sunday, shut down and all was fine and today I can't even load it. Frustrating Then I looked down and noticed my system clock was off. I have it set to Set Automatically, adjust automatically, all those settings but Holy cow it was my System Clock!!! It must have been off from Daylight savings time and while it is 4:15 est my clock had 5:15 est. I adjusted the clock and MSFS launched automatically because I had tried to launch it but it wouldn't load until the time was correct! So if anyone runs into MSFS not launching and you've tried all the other steps, check you system clock!!

  15. The mentality here blows my mind.... How much has the 777 changed in real life since 2013? Is Boeing boring because they keep producing the same plane? Let's see, Boeing still produces the 737, 767, 777 and 787 correct? And people are whining about PMDG because of repetition? Basically the ONLY place PMDG could introduce something NET NEW is the Max or a 787 and the Max is coming.... I don't see them going "back" to a 767 Not a lot of options when you apply logic and context around Boeing's current fleet are there? Wow, crazy how that worked out when you look at the facts. So please explain how the release of the first 777 followed by the Max adding to the current 737 fleet in MSFS is boring to me again? That only leaves the 767 and 787 PMDG hasn't brought us... 🤯
