  1. Good grief it’s only delay by a couple of weeks. Does it really matter in the scheme of things?
  2. If you are operating aircraft like the 737 or A320 there is still Dunedin NZDN, Invercargill NZNV, Palmerston North NZPM, Rotorua NZRO (a challenge, Napier NZNR (short runway) or Hamilton NZHN (short). There is also plenty of 2.5 to 3.5 hour international options as well such as: Sydney YSSY, Brisbane YBBN, Melbourne YMML, Gold Coast YBCG, Norfolk Island YSNF, Hobart YMHB, Launceston YMLT, Noumea NWWW, Nadi (Fiji) NFFN, Tonga NFTF and the Samoan group Apia NSFA and Pago Pago NSTU. As for regional turbo prop, or biz jet ops, there is plenty of other great regional airports to try out. So no need to get bored…….and if you do then welcome to an airline pilots life!
  3. Actually they are surprisingly accurate (within the limitations of the video). Maybe a bit more dust and grime needed, but that’s all.
  4. Yes that’s critical. You spend a lot of time in flightsim looking at the landing gear, almost as much as a cabin interior.
  5. Absolutely. PMDG should have updated their Nav Data coding long ago.
  6. Doh! ……..Dat be 3 words…… 🙂
  7. It is probably be a issue with the PMDG navdata coding. Current nav charts have the LOC12 APP and the RNP12 approaches displaying pretty much the same. Both are straight in. There is only a 2 degree course difference between the two. A slightly steeper descent angle of 3.9 instead of 3.0 degrees for both approaches.
  8. They hung on to that original navdata format for too long. For a study level sim this should have been at the top of the priority list. It’s why I switched and used the iFly 737 in P3D.
  9. Wow that’s unfortunate and rather annoying. I cannot understand why a real world pilot would be happy to produce a product that lacks that capability. RNP is everywhere now.
  10. I thought the PMDG LNAV 2.0 had RF leg types?
  11. Bob, does the blocking off of the 4 e-cores reduce the heat/power by much? I always find it alarming the temps these that these CPUs produce (even with water cooling).
  12. Fantastic. An excellent feature that will help with many tricky gates. Thanks for the update, great support.
  13. That CYYJ is one very well done piece of work. An art form.
  14. LM bowed out of the race with their V6 release. Hugely underwhelming.
