  1. Greetings Geroge, Five years, well if you enjoy FS9 - suggest you visit www.ford-tr-motor.net for old 1920's and 1930's aircraft repaints of the following default FS9 aircraft: Ford Tri-Motor about 374 Lockheed Vega 234 DH-88 Comet 30 Curtiss JN-4D 74 Piper Cub 26 Douglas DC-3 27 Vickers Vimy 12 Also have some period specific scenery and a few special projects - INDIA - FORDLANDIA - BLACKHAWK Island. Free and no log in or joining, pop in, download and leave. No forums or chat rooms.....Just a fun time! Ed Moore
  2. Greetings friends, Again, sorry if our site is confusing, there are many things to visit and we have many different ways to enter each area....... did not want to seem unfriendly but if you read the headings it is self explanatory as to what it is an entry too. Main page has FORD tri motor repaints in pages of letters - A thu E, next page F thru O and so on - four tabs plus one extra called BONUS with 64 extra FORD repaints, total of 360 - one page would seem to be to long so Garry made it into multiple pages of about 65 repaints each......still a lot. Our support aircraft has its own page - again, with multiple pages required in VEGA and DH80 models. So it can seem like a whole bunch. It has taken about four years to build this site up - again, all for free and paid for by me with many gifts of time and talent by Garry Smith, I have spent about ten thousand dollars and Garry has gifted over ten thousand dollars in time, talent and FREE repaints on his own. So for yes, My response, yes, use your mouse and read about all the stuff we have done. ENJOY and go fly.....Thanks and take care. Ed Moore
  3. Greetings, Sorry if it seems confusing to some. Like all sites as you mouse over the screen the mouse cursor goes from pointer to a finger (a clickable point). We do require that you user be able to read English and move a mouse. It is all free with no login nor any tracking stuff. We are a FS9 site that has six hundred or so FS9 & FSX aircraft repaints. As long as DX10 mode is not used all of our FS9 default repaints workl That includes - FORD TRI-Motor, Lockheed VEGA, Curtiss JN4, Vickers Vimy, DH-88 Comet, and Douglas DC3. Additionally the DH-91, DH-89a and DH-80 repaints work well in FSX. Scenery, not so much joy, mostly does not work in FSX but some does. JigSaw puzzles are not Flight Sim specific - 400 of them to enjoy. Take care and go have some fun! Regards. Ed Moore
  4. Greetings, Well, yes, we have a major focus on FS9 but if the aircraft is FSX compatible it can be flown in FSX. For example, the Ford Tri-Motor, Douglas DC3, Curtiss Jenny, Vickers Vimy, Lockheed Vega and De Hailland 88 are all flyable in FSX without any problems. We have just over six hundred REPAINTS for these models at the Ford Project web site. Just do not use DX10 mode and the BMP files work fine in FSX. Also the DH80 & DH89a models work well in FSX. True our scenery is for the most part only usable in FS9 but the jig-saw PUZZLEs work no matter what FS you use (smile)! Good luck and happy flying. All the best. Ed Moore
  5. Howdy, One extra note on the CURTISS JN-4 stuff at the Ford Project is the AIRCRAFT CFG has been modified so that the aircraft flys a bit better. Also the PANEL file has been modified with a an added SPEEDO in the 2D view and mini-panel view too. Along with all FIFTY aircraft FLT.SIM entries. Have a great weekend and go fly! Ed
  6. Sascha, hope you fly the Auto-Union in and around Berlin! A small tribute to the Silver-fish race car of the 30's. Garry is a genius with repaints! Take care. Ed Moore
  7. Tom, come on over to my web site, www.ford-tri-motor.net and see why I choose not to switch over to FSX, and yes I own a copy of FSX and yes I have i7 Cpu with 24 Gigs, and all the needed hardware but I prefer FS9. Thank you and take care. Ed
