  1. You know, I got this error myself a week or 2 ago, but I found out it had to do with a setting in my instant messenger program to allow for in game chat.. More than likely, a software on your computer is interfering, You just need to find out what it is.. Could be a setting in a program on your computer that just needs to be disabled.. Programs such as lenovo applications or what darkstar said, ATI software can cause the issue. Also if you have Trillian instant messenger installed, it will cause that error if you have in game chat turned on.' did you make any changes to any programs since the last time couatl worked?
  2. What folder is your FSX in? Keep it out of C:\program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files if you haven't already. Suggested C:\FSX
  3. on the legs page, select the leg directly under the line that has the [][][][] and then click the line select key for the [][][][] to replace it. You can't delete the [][][][] in itself.
  4. if anyone who is having issues with Couatl and also has Trillian instant messenger, make sure ingame chat is turned off within trillian preferences, it doesn't work with couatl. Don't know if anyone here has trillian, just figured I'd throw it out there just incase. Other than that, I've had no issues whatsoever with Couatl or AM They work flawless for me.
  5. Yes, but there were legs in there that would take me around the airport? Here's the settings I had set on the dep/arrival page i had set for departure KLAX 7L and arrival ILS 07L On the legs page, there are 3 rows, 1st leg is FEKIL and the 2nd leg is TURKA, 3rd leg is Runway 7L. The moment I lift off, FEKIL and TURKA both disappear before I even reach them.
  6. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I've been testing the 777 on just a round trip, from say KLAX to KLAX, just doing a circle around the airport to get the hang of it. I'd program the FMC like it shows on tutorial #1, setting my current position in the POS INIT and then in RTE I would put in KLAX to KLAX, set my dep/arr to KLAX Rwy 7L -> klax ILS 7l No sid/stars, just wanting to circle the airport and come in again to test it out. I'd then go to my legs page, and it would have a discontinuity [][][][] and I would click the one below, and move it up one to close the discontinuity. The ND will show the purple line just fine, circling the airport, and returning to the same runway. I turn on the Flight directors on both sides, select VNAV/LNAV set my altitude and speed on the MCP and then set flaps, set RTO on brakes, and I take off... The moment I take off, all the legs will just disappear and the next leg is just Rwy 7L, and the plane has no path to follow so it just goes into a set of left/right turns not following any path, eventually possibly even just taking me back to the runway in the middle of the airport. This has happened every time so far I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I also can't even seem to get the step mode to come on as it shows in the tutorial:/ Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong to cause the legs to all vanish?
  7. what they said.. Open the PMDG Operations Center, click the blue button on the top left "Please select a product" and select the 777, then on the left menu click documentation.
  8. Before you reinstall, read the 777 documentation.. There was a statement in the 777 introduction file about a setting to fix that. Nevermind, just looked at the fix, and looks like you have it already.
  9. wow! when it showed the baggage carts around 40 seconds, they looked so photo-real i thought i saw the canvases blowing in the wind:P
  10. do you have widescreen enabled in your fsx.cfg file? If not set it as true/1 and then open FSX and zoom in a notch or two until it looks like it did w/o widescreen enabled. That should help with the LOD radius.
  11. Assuming that you have "enable audio" selected and made sure xpax is connected to FSX, sometimes Xpax doesn't connect the first time. If it's connected, have you opened your door to start the boarding process when ingame? or did you start straight from the runway? If the latter, you need to start at the gate and open the door to start the boarding process, otherwise you can skip to a different state on the xpax main menu. Those are what comes straight to my mind as troubleshooters.
  12. believe this was an issue with the last update that they said would be fixed on sp1c
  13. No, it will not create a flight plan for the FMC for the NGX.
