  1. Lucky! I have received nothing. Not even an order number! Yet they charged my c/c...twice. I submitted a ticket. Hopefully that will work. Joshua Weinstein
  2. Did anyone get this message? Error: Thank you for your purchase, it is currently under review. Or something to that effect. My c/c has been charged twice, but like most of you no DL link OR confirmation email. I called the c/c company but they said it's still a pending transaction so there's nothing they can do. 3. Very well put sir. I remember over 15 years ago picking up my first copy of Flight Simulator (then version 5.1). That game was intense...after all it came on 4 floppy disks! I was in heaven, and as the years progressed I watched as the franchise grew....and grew....and well, lost it's direction clearly. I am beyond disappointed that once again a software developer feels the need to cater to the lower echelon of society. This is not to say there is no room for games like Flight, but does anyone remember Sim Societies? Maxis did the same thing when they felt Sim City had grown too much to appeal to a wide user base, so they turned the game into a ridiculous and watered down shell of what it use to be.I will be emailing and calling Microsoft today to voice my displeasure with their decision, and I can only hope that I am as professional sounding as Robert when I do so.Joshua Weinstein
  4. Hello all, First, obviously an incredible aircraft. Tried to play another game for 5 minutes today but quickly went back to flying this incredible piece of software! Anyhou, for the problem. When I load instant replay (usually a landing), the plane 'flies' back to the starting point of the replay, but always hits the ground first which causes the NGX to become a giant fireball which never stops. It's annoying, because it happens after each replay and once you end the replay the plane is still on fire. Perfectly usable, except a flaming inferno. Anyone else have this issue? Joshua Weinstein
  5. Chris, click spot is on the vertical post to the left of the captains window, maybe 3/4 of the way up. Jeff (not Cody...my bad!) I'm not sure what to tell you. I also updated the aerosoft downloader tool, as well as reinstalled Ezdok. When all was said and done and I loaded FSX, it asked me to install the module for the HUD. Maybe it was sheer luck? Josh
  6. Hey Cody, I hope this helps, just posted about it on another topic with the same problem. I too had no readout. Do you happen to be using FlightSim Commander 9? I had an issue with that program once I installed the NGX, so I reinstalled it. Magically, when I reopened FSX, it asked to run the HUGS module! I have no clue why, but reinstalling that program worked for me and now I have a display. Joshua Weinstein
  7. Hey guys, This just fixed it for me. I had Aerosoft Flight Commander 9 installed and something was weird with it too because it didn't connect the GPS to fsx. So I did an uninstall of FC9 and now it's working, and the HUGS is too. When I rebooted FSX it asked if I wanted to run the HUGS module and all is fine now! Hope this helps. Also reinstalled Ezdok before too, though that didn't work. Joshua Weinstein
  8. I am having the exact same issue. Aircraft is powered, ready to go, etc. No display at all on the hugs. Joshua Weinstein
  9. Newark Liberty! (KEWR). This poor airport is the brunt of every joke (and delay) in the real world and sim world. Please model it with the respect it deserves! Thanks!Joshua Weinstein
  10. I just wanted to say 'great job' to the PMDG team. The frame rates even with addon scenery were incredible. Not only that, the realism was....surreal. I loaded the plane, enjoyed the most detailed nut and bolt...and then, whilst flying at night looked out the right cockpit window only to see reflections from the night lit panel in the window. That blew me away. I am a real world pilot, and to see something like that made me feel as if I was truly there. It was worth the wait. ThanksSide note, I feel like the landing sounds from tire impacting runway should be more pronounced. Perhaps I'm wrong.
