No Steve, no legacy self-shadowing.

Hi Steve, I've searched the forum and the manual but nothing I've found so far alludes to my issue. As I pan around in external view the self-shadowing flashes on and off and the point when it does can be narrowed to a small band. Is this just an FsX issue or a model issue ( it happens with all aircraft) or is there a possible fix?

Actually adding the line "ForceVCShadowMap=1" under [Display] in the FsX.cfg will enable virtually any FsX native aircraft to show vc shadows in Dx10. Oh and Dx10 without Steve's fixer is a waste of time, with it, it is superb.

As long as there's a fix (thanks MrSpeaker) it doesn't matter Steve. Your work to create cloud shadows in FsX Dx10 is worth it.

I decided for the first time in a year or two to let FsX create a new cfg as I was having slow loading time issue. So having removed the cfg and starting FsX I immediately get a fatal error message. Could this possibly be a Dx10 issue?

I installed over the previous version. Is this correct?

Just tried now and it's still 3.2

The external lights are not Dx10 compatible and running the Fixer fx scan doesn't fix the issue. Back to v.1 I think.

Hi Steve, I unpacked the download, read the installation manual and installed. However I get this error message: Patching fixer libraries (0). (0) System error was -1072807676 Any ideas? Roger.
