I'm a MS Store user on the SU15 beta and no longer suffer from this, as I said above they fixed it about two udates ago.

Installation simple but needs online connection. Weather depiction matched reality (once I had set my options! Oops). Using with both frame Gen and AutoFPS mods no problems encountered. FPS, actually noticed an increase in FPS flying over Spain with FG I have 70fps. So far so good, no heavy weather as yet as I'm using real time. Video of flight here:

Are you on the beta? I had this about three updates ago, all good now.

There is no METAR or TAF available in the weather app Windy either. You can however use Windy to gauge wind diirection, strength and it also gives pressure i.e. currently 1019.

This "might" be worth a try. I have a 3060 12 Gig on a second generation Ryzen 7. Try the MSFS 2020 Map mod, it now has 2 cache's DATA and Photogrammetry. I get 70 fps which is smooth as silk. Another tip if you are using Reshade with FG remove it, I gained over 20 fps. P.S. Don't forget to empty the cache's after every flight. Here is an example:

My glass is (always) half full, but I suppose there is nothing wrong with striving for perfection except the complaints never come from those that create! Which is something I've noticed with critics from all walks of life, which is a shame, because encouragment gives far better results.

The project has come so far in that time it's amazing to look at where it was to where it is now. We have been diligently working on improving the program across all dimensions and thanks to our amazing beta testers we're nearing our goal of a stable IFR experience. Because we've been so focused on stabilizing the core experience, we've not had time to work on traffic much, which is in itself a completely separate piece of software inside BATC. I would say it's about 50% complete. This is where we need your help. What we will have soon is a working IFR experience with you alone in the sky. We can keep this working core held back while we work on traffic (which should take another 2-4 months) or we can release what we have now! If we were to release soon, we would continue work on traffic in the background while you would all get to enjoy the "alone in the sky" IFR experience. We would then launch traffic as a (free) update to the program when it's ready a few months later. Or, we can hold traffic back so we release both features at the same time. I'm on the Store version so not entirely sure where your exe resides in Steam, if you can find the "content" folder (inside the Microsoft Flight Simulator folder) the gamelaunchhelper.exe is under the "FlightSimulator.exe, so when reshade asks you to select a game or application select gamelaunchhelper.exe

When you installed Reshade did you link it to the exe file? If your version of MSFS has the exe hidden and unavailable link it to the gamelaunchhelper.exe. That's all I use now and it works perfectly. Also, use the installer it's much quicker and safer. EDIT: I forgot to add when linked to the gamelaunchhelper.exe updates weather normal or beta do "not" affect the Reshade installation.
