  1. Gentlemen It worked for me as well. Cheers Palle H. Jensen
  2. Greetings Typically you will be on board not later than 45 minutes prior to Scheduled Time of Departure, when doing he CDU pre-flight typically the route/winds are available for up-link, provided data-link is up and running, if not then you will have to insert everything yourself, when you are up to scratch with FMS programming, you can manually load it in less than 10 minutes for a long-haul flight. What normally takes a bit of time is manually loading the winds, the more accurate you are, the better are the fuel/time predictions. Load-sheet will be up-linked as well, and we do our own performance on the OPT. Some operators will obviously differ based on their NOP's/policies etc. Best regards Palle H Jensen
  3. Gentlemen It's the "Airport Moving Map", used as an 'situational awareness' tool, just one issue, may not be available to all airports and it requires a lot of resources to keep it up to date. Best regards Palle H. Jensen
  4. Gentlemen The noise level on the freighter is slightly different because of the curtain that separates the supernumerary area and the cockpit instead of the door on the passenger version as well as difference in the cabin and main deck insulation. Best regards Palle H. Jensen
  5. Gentlemen A big thanks to Robert and the team for preserving the legacy of this great plane in the virtual skies, I was truly impressed with the attention to detail of this simulation, looking forward to put it through its paces. Regards Palle Jensen
  6. That's the AA way, not necessarily the way other customers do theirs! Cheers Palle H. Jensen
  7. When an airline picks up a new airplane from the manufacturer, for a "mature' product, it normally will go into revenue service as soon as possible, typically the next day, remember, it is a commercial asset, that needs to carry passengers/cargo to generate some serious cash to pay for itself and those involved with its operation. Less time spend on the ground, the better is the revenue potential. For a "non-mature" product (i.e. brand new airplane type), then obviously it can take longer, in some cases much longer until all issues are sorted out. Best regards Palle H. Jensen
  8. To the Beta Team Give the "Queen" a good shaking during the Beta Testing so the community gets a superb product that will make Boeing even prouder. Best regards Palle H. Jensen
  9. Hi Dorian Just ensure you follow the following sequence and you should be good to go. 1. Correct departure runway inserted. 2. On the "Thrust Lim" page, iinsert De-rated Thrust followed by Assumed Temparature, as required. 3. On the "Takeoff Ref" page, as you have supplied, just "Line Select" the V1, VR and V2 and the fonts will turn big. 4. Manually set the V2 in the MCP speed window and then ARM VNAV. That's it! Best regards Palle
  10. Gents Looking at the video, everything looks just fine, I did not see any bounce, the minor fluctuations on the radio altimeter during rollout is normal. Best regards Palle
  11. Gentlemen The 777 is very easy to fly. In my humble opinion, after just very few hours/sectors on the PMDG 777, the roll and flare characteristics are a bit easier to handle than in the real aircraft. However, when time permits, I will take it up for a complete "C" test profile to see how it squares out. But my overall first impression with the product as with any other products from PMDG is "outstanding". Best regards Palle
  12. Gentlemen The best B777 livery is from the worlds 5 star airline, QATAR AIRWAYS. Best regards Palle
  13. Hi Paul Thanks for the feedback, by the way, I did a quick test using "Profile" during descent with an "At or Below" Constraint above the ideal FMC calculated descent profile and the FCP Altitude window set at a lower altitude, guess what, the autopilot leveled off at the exact "At" altitude until passing the waypoint, then continued the descent to the FCP set altitude. The interesting thing though was that the FMC vertical deviation indication from the ideal descent profile was correctly displayed!!!!!! Best regards Palle
  14. Hi Frank Hmm, it sounds like there is an issue with your weather engine and how it is setting your high altitude weather, particular with regards to the temperature, I would suggest you to check the options selected. Best regards Palle
  15. Gentlemen You cannot program an In Between Comstraint in the FMS, additionally, if you program an "At or Below" descent constraint, the FMS will consider it as an "At" constraint". Apart from that, I think this airplane is one of the best for FSX. Best regards Palle
