  1. I do greatly appreciate help from others, just think if all the people in the world could think that way how different things would be.
  2. I am posting this to publicly thank Tom Gibson for all his kind and thoughtful assistance here, he is truly a great ambassador for this hobby and I feel he should be acknowledged for his help to many users of this and the other forums he is involved in. So thank you Tom for all your kind and thoughtful help, from my first post here you made me feel at home and welcome, this in itself makes you the fine ambassador of this hobby that you are. So I thank you again sir.Regards and Happy Flying,Rockman aka Dave
  3. Hi All,Well thanks to Traffic Tools built in error checking routine I have determined that the solution to my issue with adding the TNG's to my flight plan was to make the whole flight VFR , so that's what I did and all is well, now all I have to do is tweak the times and do the same to the other plans involved and I'm good to go. This all started when I wanted have some static AC's at Travis and I came across an item named FS9 Almost Static Aircraft, so by following this guide I now have 2-F15's,2-F16's,2-C17's, and a C130 stationed at Travis AFB full time except for the short time they hop over to Moffett Field and do some touch and goes and return back to Travis. I downloaded some add on scenery for Moffett that already has static aircraft parked at several spots there. I used to live and work in the SF Bay Area and went by Moffett many times and there would always be some military planes doing touch and goes there. I thought it would be more realistic to do the same with my FS 2004 I really enjoy personalizing it to make things more like real life.I want to thank Tom Gibson for all his help with this and am starting a new thread to do, so I hope others who Tom has helped will add their thanks as well.Thank you TomRegards and Happy Flying Rockman aka Dave
  4. Hi again Tom,Well I solved the issue by changing all 5 spots to a radius of 44m and removed the M003 from the parking codes leaving them C130and that solved the issue the AC now lands and goes to parking OK. I now have to figure out the TNG issue, have tried 3 different things in the flight plan to no avail. What I am trying to accomplish is to have all the aircraft do TNG's until departing back to TravisSo decided to work with C130 first, once I get it to do the TNG's then I'll do the same with the other AC's, the thing now is how to add the VFR TNG code to the flight plan, or do I have to make another plan to accomplish this? Any help will be greatly appreciated if any of the other experts know how to do this. Thanks again Tom for all your kind help here.Regards and Happy Flying Rockman aka Dave
  5. Hi Tom,For some reason I am not able attach files I was hoping you could check them over for things I missed so I will include what I can here AFCAD KNUQ parking spaces=5 for C130 M003 the radius is 44m and the C130 in question=20m. This is from the AC's cfg:ui_manufacturer=Lockheedui_type=C-130 RAF AIui_variation=C-130 80satc_parking_types=Mil_Cargoatc_parking_codes=C130I wonder if this could be as simple as removing the M003 from the listing I included the UI info as I seem to recall it plays some role in AI operation. In the meantime I'll try removing the M003 and see if that does it. Again thank you for all your kind help here.Regards Dave aka Rockman
  6. Wow thanks for that info, I'm having another issue hopefully you can help me with. I have 7 aircraft doing a hop from Travis AFB to Moffet Fld. a C130,2-C17s,2-F15s and 2-F16s all goes well they land at Moffett and park except the C130 it lands then poof disappears. I have tried every thing I know to solve this there are 5 parking spots assigned for C130s, AFCAD fault checker did show some faults but if they were the problem the other AC's would most likely do the same thing. One thing that's strange is when the C17's land they stop at the 1st taxiway, which is a very short distance, and go to parking but all the fighters use the full runway and then go to parking. I am stumped on the C130 issue, I've become pretty good at figuring things out from documentation and other posts here, but this one has me stuck in the mud, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Tom for all your kind assistanceRegards and Happy Flying Rockman aka Dave
  7. I am adding this info so as to help anyone else having simular issues.
  8. Well putting a TNG in front of arrival at KNUQ just caused the AC to do loops of missed approaches so guess I'll just have to add a leg doing circuits from arrival until just before departure for KSUU. Sure glad editing is not that difficult thanks to Lee Swordy's help file included with Traffic Tools. Thanks again to Tom Gibson for all your help here.Regards Rockman aka Dave
  9. Thanks Tom,I thought it probably would just was not sure where to insert the TNG I'll just play around with it and see.Thank you again for your kind and timely response.Rockman aka Dave
  10. Hello again,OK I need help on another flight plan:AC#70,N004MI,50%,24,IFR,14:00:30,00:00:00,140,F,9056,KNUQ,15:30:30,00:00:00,150,F,9056,KSUUWhat I would like to accomplish is have the AC do a couple of TNG's at KNUQ before returning to KSUU so would I use the TNG for this or something else? I know how to make an AC do circuits at an airport I am just not sure if the rule applies in this case.Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.Regards and Happy Flying Rockman aka Dave
  11. Hey Tom,Thanks for your quick and kind response, that makes sense. TY again and happy flying.Dave :(
  12. Hi all, I have a question about 2 flight plans I made: AC#60,N799FX,35%,24,IFR,14:00:00,00:00:00,230,F,7790,KPDX,17:00:00,00:00:00,220,F,7791,KSFO,20:00:00,00:00:00,240,F,7792,KMFRAC#61,N899UP,35%,24,IFR,14:05:00,00:00:00,230,F,7880,KPDX,17:05:00,00:00:00,220,F,7881,KSFO,20:05:00,00:00:00,240,F,7882,KMFRthe planes take off and land at the locations just fine except when they return to KMFR they come in on visual rather than IFR, like I said they land ok, I am just curious as to why they switch over to visual approach coming back to KMFR. The runways are ILS. Thanks in advance for any input Dave
