Martybuzz and Mike: now i tried to arm it on the ground before take-off, but i can not arm the main autopilot switch. LNAV wont arm (i dont see the light appear on the switch itself, nor in the PFD. I was able to arm VNAV. My waypoint was not in line with the airport, but after reading your answer i added a waypoint. I was still not able to arm LNAV. I could not arm the main autopilot switch either. When i tried flying now i saw on the VNAV page that the waypoint was mentioned at the E/D (dont know what that is), but the plane did not descend at at all -
-
Greetings fellow members - On the act rte 1 legs page, i enter the waypoints followed by speed/altitude. I arm vnav, and find the plane ignoring the data i entered on the mentioned page. I set the speed initially in the mcp to f. ex. 270, and arm vnav when in cruise. When i enter a waypoint, like: BAVAD 220/3400 - The plane ignores this and continue in the same altitude and speed i entered in the mcp (or by hand-flying). What am i missing here? Greetings from Gunnar

Oh - it happens

Thats great! Greetings from Gunnar

Jøss - imponerende! Jeg får inntrykk av at du er ansatt hos pmdg når jeg leser innleggene dine, er det riktig?
-
I must admit i was never in Rogaland // but if you are going to Valdres you could drop by ENFG Bra at du snakker norsk
-
i did not understand that until now I go there every year with my family, (to Fagernes town, that is - and its sorroundings) its a beautiful place. Cool you have been there! The sub-question that appears is that i dont know if the 747 would land at ENFG for real, maybe in an emergency?
-
I tested it - now i understand why i went into the lake on rwy33 at ENFG Thanks
-
In other words - i shall not use my pedals? My 0 zone is rather low, but i use pedal brakes as well during landing - so this will corrupt autobrakes?
-
Yes - i have rudders with toe brakes
-
Thank you - in the pmdg 747-400 i can not remember i saw a single red message about braking, have no idea why
-
I figured it out - to set a custom HOLD point, simply press the lsk6 "ppos" button
-
Is there any way to set a hold point on demand? At my current location, for example?
-
It strucked me many times, so i finally decided to bring it to the open - Thanks, Jim
