Yes I have noticed that. It doesn't really seem like much to be honest. How would one extrapolate that to mean there are tens of thousands of active users? Given the current state of FS I would not have made that conclusion off the top of my head if I were just looking at that figure alone. Certainly wouldn't surprise me with some of the things I've seen here recently.

It would be a pleasent surprise but I never realised there were that many active members here. The way people talk most of those accounts haven't been used in a long time...

Since Word Not Allowed got banned it's only gonna be downhill from here mates.

I think Avsim needs to start a secret police organization within its ranks to investigate member accounts at random as a full-time job and track them down and verify their authenticity.

Actually has anyone tried tracing Summer1's IPs to see if they resolve to the same place as this rogue's did?

Careful Tom. You can't stop it and they will keep trying. If you keep this kind of behaviour up they may band together to make an end to you and Avsim entirely. Given enough time and disgruntled banned members they may succeed. Is it really worth starting an unwinnable war over?

I like how he really gets involved with the work he is doing to help people - he doesn't just sit on the sidelines throwing money at things which, let's face it, pretty much any rich person could do. He seems to really want to be the driving force. Too bad he couldn't do that for FS as well. Or maybe rescue LR from Uniloc =S.

LOL I somehow suspect that won't change when they all start wanting to build their own cockpits and FS PCs =P.

OK I feel the need to say something here - in the times I've been on this forum I've seen others suspended/banned for far less insulting remarks than the kind this user has repeatedly made. It makes me wonder why it's being overlooked. In another thread some user was (rightfully) suspended for making an insulting remark to another user regarding their age and experience. Can we apply the same standards here? And before anyone says the obvious, I know my slate isn't entirely clean and I've been rightly and fairly warned about it. I will learn from it and conduct myself more appropriately in future...at least when I'm not feeling a tad goofy =D. Anyhow to contribute something to this topic - this addon looks interesting but with all the other performance issues I'm having I'll probs be giving any advanced night-lighting a miss for now.
