I think we have enough Airbuses, we need the SU, I want to get rid of the Dune screen....😉

Just read that now they are hoping for the week of May 7.

But the issue as I see it, is most of the Youtube ( I know nothing about the product) reviewers have convinced many viewers that all AS is, is a "Cash Grab" ( using their words in many cases. ) So I have read many comments where the posters said that they heard that AS was not worth buying, after watching reviews on Youtube. That is a shame.

Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
Bobsk8 replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
So get ASFS and you won't be restricted to 24 hours. Here is what you get in ASFS Ground snow coverage data is available for the past 10 days only. Tropical storm data is available live and older than 10 days in the past (not available historically within 10 days of present). All other weather data is available, in hourly archives, for the past several years. Some dates/times or data layers may not be available. Coverage, resolution, and availability is subject to change. -
I load the flight, the flightplan, set it to Active Sky Preset, and Realism. Good Idea to go over the manual. This program does quite a few things.

Depends on your ATC, and if it will change your approach or departure , if wind shifts at the last minute, which in real life happens. I leave it on prevent , and have for years.

Here is my guess, if you don;t like what AS does both in P3D and MSFS 2020, you will be on the forum when MS 2024 is released, complaining about the weather again. I have a question for you, how much flying have you done in ASFS since it has been released?

What is strange is that Damian was one of the most respected developers for years and years. Now he comes out with an app in MSFS, and he seems to get hate from every direction. I don't get it.

Just CU clouds, isn't really an extensive cloud depiction for me.

In the last couple of weeks, I have been flying nothing but the Fenix, now up to about 16 flights. The two biggest complaints I had, which kept me from flying it, was the ground handling on takeoff and the PFD brightness at the top of the screen. From reading on their discord page, I solved the erratic takeoff centerline problem. It was easy once I discovered that full forward on the sidestick, until you get to around 90 knots, and now I can hold the centerline with no problem. The second issues isn't solved yet, but I got an email from their tech support this morning, they are aware of the brightness issue and are currently working on a fix. 😃 =

It's obvious that you don't like Active Sky, so why do you keep posting on the threads about it?

JF PA-38 Tomahawk coming with A2A-style features
Bobsk8 replied to F737MAX's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I personally knew two CFIs that got killed in that aircraft, one of them with his wife. I stayed far away from it.
