Click Fly Now and Does Not Goto Cockpit View!
paulwilko10 replied to paulwilko10's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Well what do you know, first attempt after uninstalling Facetrack Noir and boom. Thank you -
Thank you all, will look into some of the suggestions. The frequency one seems a sensible start

Having a serious issue since last update. When I click fly now, i ti snot going to cockpit view, instead it is at the view it currently is when it is previewing the flight (if that makes sense) If i press end to go to outside view, it is still stuck but the guages appear and go away when i hit end again. I can't fly and i have had no issues like this before. I updated my graphics driver yesterday and it suddenly worked but now it is doing it again so must not have been that. Any ideas please? Cheers Paul

Hello How am I meant to find out weather conditions on airfields? I was landing at Popham and the nearest ATIS i could find was Fanrborough, so i tuned in and nothing happened. I am very much a noob so my process is probably wrong, but this seemed weird to not get anything at all even said or written on the comms tab. Thanks Paul

For those of us that have less than perfect PC's or for anyone, is there a way to save a graphics profile for different scenes? Example, i may find the perfect set up for the 152 over built up areas but that would be totally different to the Airbus in my case Is there a way to do it or just make notes? Cheers Paul

Can I add my house as a point of interest?

Yes you can, here you go -
Thanks everyone I am still undecided as various answers good and bad. As said, FPS is not my main goal, would be nice but a smooth 30 with no CPU bottleneck would be nice. When running at 25FPS, My CPU seems to hover over 85 to 100% in the non glass aircraft in rural. My GPU is not getting touched, that hovers around 30-50% which is why the cpu seems to be the issue. I would be more than happy with a nice smooth 25-30 FPS with next to no stutters and if spending £110 on a i7 would fix that , then its a no brainer. How much does my Standard hdd have to play in stutters? Could it be the cpu and the writing to the hdd? I really dont have hundreds to spend on a MOBO and Memory and CPU Thanks Paul

I'm confused lol and glad i asked. I have only just upgraded my GPU fro the GTX 760 to the GTX 1650 Super and it showed a very big jump in FPS on exactly the same settings. The trouble with the new card is now it seemingly pushed the CPU to its max and is now a bottle neck. So in theory if i went further with the GPU, it would get worse? I have seen youtube reviews of benchmarks that show the 4790 performing much better than the 4690 both overclocked which mine is to 4.3ghz I am even more confused now lol

Currently i am running FS 25 fps on nearly medium. That is only with GA aircraft, anything more and i am pushing my luck lol. My set up is: i5 4690K GTX 1650 Super 16GB Ram Asus Z97-K Motherboard I do get issues with the cpu being 100% on anything more than 25fps and even these settings cause some stuttering. If i went any less on the graphics i may aswell play fsx So, my motherboard can only go as high as the i7 4790K. I know the obvious money is not an issue idea would be to scrap it all and start again, but that is not possible. So my question is, will the i7 4790K give me enough of an upgrade to warrant the appx £130. No point in saying if only you spent a bit more, as taht really is not possible because i would need a new board, cpu, memory and probably PSU. Thoughts please Cheers Paul So,

MSFS Bush Missions - Finding the landing area.
paulwilko10 replied to hamlinsw's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I am only running on low graphics so i struggle to find them, but are you guys struggling with high graphics? Once i find them they seem to be exactly where they describe
