  1. I don't need a sale. I just wish A2A would throw a little love the Civilian Mustang's way with a GTN upgrade. They missed it on the last update:( I know the 750 won't fit, but I think they could squeeze the 650 in.
  2. Don't know if this will help, but I encountered some mysterious rudder movements and it turned out that I had to disable the rudder axis (twist axis on the joystick) on my X52. Seems FSX was picking up inputs from that and my rudder pedals. I had the twist axis locked on the stick but I guess it was still sending something to FSX.
  3. Just a quick question before I start this. The Garmin site says the new version 5 of their trainer only has north and south American terrain and purchase of the disc is required to get the rest of the world. Does F1 have a different download for the trainer?
  4. Okay, my turn! I had kind of the same experience as Jack. Did the ASN SP2 update and lost Ultimate Traffic 2 and my Saitek panels and instruments. I saw that HIFI is working on a fix and will wait patiently. One thing I did notice was that when I tried to bring up UT2 I got "Error loading default UT2 or FSX settings, multiple root elements line 27 position 4". Has anyone seen this error or have any idea where these settings might be located?
  5. Hey, just to join the party. I did the ASN SP2 update today, although it didn't destroy FSX, I lost my Saitek gauges and panels and my UT2. Just thought Jack would like to know he has company. Being computer illiterate as I am, I did manage to find the xml files mentioned above and everything seems to be in order. Guess I get to play with customer support tomorrow. Just thought Jack would like to know, he's not alone. Randy Lusk
  6. There's an E-mail address on their support page. They got the same problem sorted out for me in less than 24 hours.
  7. If you only see "one of each", it sounds like you're on the aircraft selection page...Have you got "Show all variants" checked at the bottom of the page?
  8. From what I've seen from Real Air...it will be released when it is ready to be released...and it "will" be worth the wait!
  9. I'm pretty sure the weather radar is one of the NAV pages on the MFD...hope this helps
  10. I got this one today and it is beautiful. Downside is that if I install a GTN 750 in the cockpit, as soon as I turn on the master avionics switch, the screen minimizes, the sim pauses and I get..."Flight1 GTN error code: 10 Please contact support". Anybody have any clues or is it off to the Flight 1 support forums for me? Did I miss something on the install? Everything else seems to work fine, just can't load the GTN. Randy
  11. Tanks Poppet! You were right! I pulled over and asked for directions...now I'm not getting nagged so much!
  12. The Lear would be my choice (actually, it was my choice). Loud, Fast and just plain wrong in this day and time! But that's the way it was back when it was built. Just remember to burn the fuel out of the tip tanks before landing! Randy
  13. Only thing I've noticed about the weather radar is that it doesn't seem to pick up weather below my flight level. I do get weather returns for weather at or above my current flight level. May be just the way they set it up as I remember someone mentioning that the radar sweep wasn't adjustable. Just my two cents worth. Randy
  14. I've got one and no problems. As far as changing frequencies, it will jump two spots but if you're careful you can get the first step just before the knob reaches the click spot...hope this helps. Randy
