Hi I have now reinstalled the 747 v3 after a lot of problems ,but cant seem to open the PMDG operations centre it just says the following: windows cannot access the specified device path or file you may not have the appropriate permission to access the item,i have allowed pop ups as I thought this may have been the problem. The Aircraft seems to be working ok.Regards Steve

Hi does anyone know where the area is in the panel.cfg file for the size of the EICAS, and the display under this ,and the standby HDI ,as I had a problem with the new update 1.5 for fs2crew which I installed ,it said after this update SDK Error ,so I got in touch with their forum, and he sent me a panel config file ,so I put that in now I have this display problem but the fs2crew now works only with the old update 1.2 back in.but now I have this display problem. I would like to know the area where the ECAS display is in the Panel.config file,and the display under this, also the HDI standby instrument ,as they cant help me further ,which somehow ended up in the ECAS display, I have 2 screenshots of this problem but don't know how to post them .This for FSX steam The aircraft works ok but for this display problem this is the only problem I have now. Sorry I have tried all this last year and it caused so many other problems I wont uninstall again as I had to set up all the switches again in f.s.u.i.p.c and I have just done this about 4 hours ago which is now 3 complete uninstalls on the 747 and fs2 crew I don't want to do it again and by way the last time I uninstalled I did the simobjects one as well . if there is no other way of clearing this I will just have to fly on my own . regards Steve

Hi I have had this trouble before ,and was told to uninstall pmdg 747 version 2 and FS2 Crew ,which I done seemed to clear the error code SDK ,and was using it ok for a while now the same problem has reappeared ,I have done the same as before but still have the same problem, this is causing a lot of problems with uninstalling as I have a lot of buttons and real switches involved that I have to redo in f.s.u.i.p.c,as I have built my own flight deck .Please can some one help as I have tried everything . regards Steve

Thanks for your advise ,but I wont use it any more ,as too much risk in losing all my settings in the 747, as I have them in my home made flight deck ,cant understand why it worked for months then this problem I am sorry but I wont be buying anymore FS2 crew products .

Could anybody tell me what is wrong ,I am getting a SDK Error.on the 747 v3 pmdg ,I have looked on the configuration screen and all is well there ,also I have done all the things that is in the Forum suggestions, I have also reinstalled FS2 Crew, still got the same problem, also 747 is up to date.so I cant use it ,apart from flying myself .

I have been using FS2 crew for a while now ,and had no problems ,but now I get the message sdk error on the main green bar ,this is for the pmdg 747 version 2 FSX,please can someone advise what to do ,thanks Steve

Thanks for your reply's,i have the registered version of fsuipc so do I use the bottom download as I have fsuipc ,I have read the Manuel for the sdk ,but its a bit confusing I did try Pete Dowson ,and he tried to help me, but he recommended me to get in touch with this forum i will try this as I have built a throttle quadrant for the 747 ,and if I can get the fuel switches to work ,this would be great .They did work on the version 1 fsx 747 pmdg but on the v3 you cant make macros on some of the switches ,thanks again will let you know of the outcome. regards Steve Warland

Does anyone know how to use SDK in the 747-400 ,as I want to use this to activate fuel switches for the 747-400 v3,in fsuipc when I put the number in the box for custom control eg 968 for fuel control switch eng 1 I was told by Pete Dowson that it must have other numbers with it very confused ?
