installing FTX GLOBAL VECTOR manually ! ftx config problem! most see

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I try to install the product but when open the FTX GLOBAL VECTOR CONFIG TOOL after installation complete to applying the scenery, it give me ftx config stop working.

I notice this problem occurs whith many people, so the only thing isto copy the vector manually.

Could anyone help me cuz I try myself to copy FTX_VECTOR AND FTX_VECTOR _AEC to the library, but when I come to add the scenery in the addon scenery inside fsx it not add (cuz the to folders of vector is contain scenery folders and not contain texture folders, so that I cannot add it inthe library).

Could anyone help me to copy ftx vector manually ?

This is the first time I hear of this problem. There is no reason you should have to copy anything over manually, and considering its Orbx, I don't recommend it honestly. Maybe you should go to Orbx support forum and submit a ticket if you are getting an error with the installer.

I agree, don't try to do anything manually with any ORBX product. You may do far more harm than good. Go here  http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/180-ftx-global-vector-support/  and ask what to do next.

  • Never heard that "many people" have issues with this. Where do you read this?
  • You can always add folders to the library without a texture folder normally. E.g. there are many landclass files coming without any texture folder and you can add them too. This can't be the reason.

Just download one.  They are on different download links, that's why you see three.  Since it's 3 GB, I recommend using a download manager.
